What will the role involve…
- Entering/checking supplier invoices
- Querying any discrepancies on supplier invoices internally and externally
- Checking/reconciling supplier statements
- Requesting copies of missing invoices
- Collating supplier invoices ready to be paid when they fall due
- Printing and distributing sales invoices
- Allocating cash received
- Producing sales statements
- Reporting sales figures
- Chasing outstanding money, by phone or email
- Balancing sales ledger
- Petty cash
- Reconciling bank statement
- General office admin/duties
Requirements
- English & Maths GCSE grade 4 or above
- An eye for detail
- A good work ethic
- Organisational skills
- A good attitude to learning
- Ability to work well as a team member and also manage own workload
- Ability to multi task
None essential but would be an advantage
- Outgoing personality
Salary : Above standard apprenticeship rates
Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
Holidays: 20 days plus bank holidays
Transport: On-Site Parking, Public Transport – Bus Route 103&103A to Wakefield Bus Station – 0.3 Miles (5 Minute walk), Train 0.8 Miles (Outwood Station, 15 Minute walk)
