Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Multi Modal Pricing Operator to join our team. This role is crucial in sourcing competitive pricing from suppliers, preparing customer quotes, and actively following up to secure and win new business.
Key Responsibilities:
Pricing Strategy: Develop and implement effective pricing strategies for multi-modal transport solutions, including sea, air, and road freight.
Supplier Negotiation: Source and negotiate competitive rates with suppliers to ensure optimal pricing for our services.
Quote Preparation: Prepare detailed and accurate quotes for customers, tailored to their specific needs and requirements.
Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to understand their logistics needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their expectations.
Follow-Up: Proactively follow up on quotes provided to customers, addressing any queries and working to convert quotes into confirmed bookings.
Market Analysis: Conduct regular market analysis to stay informed of industry trends and competitive pricing strategies.
Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers to support long-term business growth.
Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on pricing performance, ensuring targets are met and identifying areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Experience: Proven experience in pricing operations within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing competitive supplier rates.
Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends.
Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
