The Jenkar Team At Halloween

Today is Halloween, and since you can’t keep the team at Jenkar down, they have been sporting a host of wonderful costumes in the office today.

As we know, Halloween is a holiday celebrated each year on October 31, and has risen in UK prominence over recent years, now taking on a similar significance to what it does in the United States.

But did you know?

The tradition originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts. The evening used to be known as All Hallows Eve, but over time it evolved into Halloween, providing a day of activities like trick-or-treating, carving jack-o-lanterns, festive gatherings, donning costumes and eating treats.

The Jenkar team have really excelled themselves this year, with many of the departments being represented, as you can tell in the images below.
