Jenkar Shortlisted For Business Award Finals

Jenkar were delighted to have been shortlisted for this year’s Wakefield Business Awards, and were doubly pleased to have made the finals in two separate categories, when the finalists were announced on Monday 3rd October.

The winners of each category will be revealed at an award ceremony being held at Wakefield’s CAPA College on November 10th, with Jenkar shortlisted for ‘Innovative Business of the Year’ and for the ‘Wakefield District Employer of the Year’.

The annual awards were created by Wakefield First, a strategic organisation responsible for supporting local business and trade, to celebrate all that’s great about the district.

For the ‘Innovative Business of the Year’ category, the judges were looking for a business that have done something truly different and that could showcase innovation.

In the ‘Employer of the Year‘ category, they wanted an outstanding employer that creates an environment which helps employees thrive and that stands head and shoulders above the rest.

Regardless of the outcome next month, Jenkar are delighted to have been recognised as finalists in each category and look forward to attending what promises to be a fantastic night out.
